The NBA MVP race remains tight heading into the month of March. Philadelphia 76ers center Joel Embiid (+350) continues to push Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James (+170) at the top of the latest MVP odds from FanDuel Sportsbook.
James is averaging 25.5 points, 8.1 rebounds and 7.8 assists per game, holding down the fort with Anthony Davis sidelined. Embiid is No. 2 in the league in scoring (29.9 PPG) and top 10 in rebounds (11.3).
Denver Nuggets center Nikola Jokic has the third-lowest odds to win MVP at +600, followed by Dallas Mavericks star forward Luka Doncic (+1100), who led the MVP odds race in early January.
Kevin Durant has fallen out of the top five in the odds after missing eight straight games with a hamstring injury. But LA Clippers star Kawhi Leonard is on the rise, with his odds now at +1800.
