After defeating the Los Angeles Lakers 4-2 in the first round of the 2020-21 NBA Playoffs, many wondered just how far the Phoenix Suns could go this year. Fast forward to Round 2 and this team is already up 3-0 over the Denver Nuggets. Now, the Suns are firmly on the Utah Jazz's heels when it comes to NBA Championship odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

Heading into Game 3 on Friday, the Suns had +600 odds to win the NBA title. However, after defeating the Nuggets, 116-102, their odds have improved to +480. Meanwhile, the Jazz's odds have moved from +250 to +290.

Nobody really expected the Suns to be as good as they have been, even after ending the regular season as the Western Conference's No. 2 seed. They're allowing the fewest points per game (98.9) out of every playoff team this postseason. Meanwhile, point guard Chris Paul has turned back the clock and leads all players with 80 assists so far. The Suns' dominant performances have them as the -8000 favorites to win their series against the Nuggets.

Meanwhile, the Jazz are currently up 2-0 in their second-round series against the Los Angeles Clippers. With the way things have been going, there's a realistic chance that the Jazz and Suns could end up meeting in the Western Conference Finals.

FanDuel Sportsbook expects the Clippers to pick up the Game 3 victory on Saturday night, favoring them at -205 odds. Nevertheless, the Jazz are still expected to win the series at -460 odds.
