Los Angeles Clippers forward Kawhi Leonard and Phoenix Suns point guard Chris Paul have been two of the best players throughout the current NBA postseason. Both men have played a major role as to why their teams have made it as far as they have so far. Unfortunately, their teams are going to have to find a way to succeed without them, at least in the immediate future.

It was revealed on Wednesday that both men will miss some time. Leonard is out of Wednesday's Game 5 against the Utah Jazz with a knee injury. His status for the remainder of the series is also in jeopardy. Meanwhile, Paul entered COVID-19 protocol on Wednesday, meaning he'll be out of the Suns' lineup indefinitely as they head to the Western Conference Finals.

Needless to say, both superstars' injuries have caused a big shakeup when it comes to NBA Finals odds.

NBA Finals Odds

Following their Game 4 victory against the Jazz, the Clippers had +550 odds to win the NBA Championship. Now, their odds are set to +950, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, giving them the 2nd-worst odds of any remaining teams. Meanwhile, the Sun's odds to win the championship currently sit at +500.

To no one's surprise, the Brooklyn Nets are still the favorites to win it all, sitting at +210 odds. It certainly helps when you have a player like Kevin Durant, who went off for 49 points, 17 rebounds and 10 assists in a Game 5 victory on Tuesday. Meanwhile, the Jazz have the 2nd-best odds to win the NBA Finals at +240 on FanDuel Sportsbook.
