After an impressive performance in Game 1 of the Western Conference Finals, Devin Booker's odds to win NBA Finals MVP have taken a huge jump.

Game 1 between the No. 2 Phoenix Suns and No. 4 Los Angeles Clippers was a thrilling 6-point contest that remained in flux until the final seconds. The Suns prevailed with a 120-114 victory to take a commanding early lead in this series. Ultimately, it was a big second half from Booker that finished off the Clippers in Game 1.

Booker went for a 40-point triple-double (13 rebounds, 11 assists) on the game, scoring 29 of these points in the second half on 10-for-19 shooting and a perfect 7-for-7 from the charity stripe. As a result, Booker now owns the second-best odds to win Finals MVP at +310, according to the latest NBA odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.

NBA Finals MVP Odds

Prior to the start of the Western Conference Finals, Booker's Finals MVP odds sat at just +410. The two-time All-Star is seeing a big surge in these odds over the past week. In just the middle of the second round series across the league, Booker's odds didn't even crack the top-5 amongst remaining players (+650).

In just his first-ever NBA Playoffs appearance, Booker has been a force on the offensive end. He's averaging 29.0 points, 7.4 rebounds and 5.4 assists per contest on 49.1 percent shooting from the field and 38.2 percent shooting from deep. In his career, Booker averages just 23.0 points, 3.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists per contest.

Certainly, this budding NBA superstar is stepping up his game in the bright lights of the NBA Playoffs.
