FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA
Steph Curry Fantasy
Target Stephen Curry, PG, Golden State Warriors ($9,900): Steph Curry is doing everything he can to keep the Golden State Warriors in the playoff picture. He's racked up four games with 50-plus FanDuel fantasy points in his last six outings, averaging a whopping 34.4 points per game along with 5.7 rebounds and 4.6 assists during that span. Curry's hitting 47.6% from the field and 43.3% from deep, showcasing his current scoring groove. He should punish an Oklahoma City Thunder defense that allows the fifth-most PPG (115.2) and eighth-best free-throw percentage (47.1%) in the league.
LaMelo Ball Fantasy
Target LaMelo Ball, PG, Charlotte Hornets ($7,500): LaMelo Ball has returned from injury without a hitch. He's immediately resumed his status as the Charlotte Hornets' No. 1 option, averaging 16.0 PPG, 6.7 RPG and 6.3 APG while adding 2.3 steals per contest. Charlotte is without three key players on Thursday in Cody Martin, Mikes Bridges and Devonte' Graham joining Gordon Hayward on the bench, which clears the way for Ball to be leaned upon once again. The Chicago Bulls rank in the bottom half of the league in opponent PPG (112.4), so Ball should have no problems finding success as a scorer and distributor tonight.
Danilo Gallinari Fantasy
Target Danilo Gallinari, SF, Atlanta Hawks ($6,200): Danilo Gallinari is coming off of two recent strong games, putting up a combined 79.6 fantasy points in those outings. He's clearly found his shooting touch by hitting nearly 67% of his attempts from the field and 3-point land in that stretch. Gallinari has a prime opportunity to keep his play up against the Indiana Pacers. Indiana gives up the sixth-most PPG (115.0), third-most RPG (55.8) and plays at the fifth-fastest pace. Gallinari should thrive against a pourous Pacers defense.
Domantas Sabonis Fantasy
Avoid Domantas Sabonis, PF, Indiana Pacers ($10,500): The Pacers leaned heavily on Domantas Sabonis in Wednesday night's game, running the All-Star big out there for 37 minutes. Now he'll be tasked with keeping up against the young Atlanta Hawks on the second night of a back-to-back. Atlanta ranks in the top half of the league for opponent PPG (111.3) and allows the fifth-fewest RPG (49.7) thanks to a strong frontcourt of John Collins and Clint Capela. Sabonis' double-double streak is in serious jeopardy heading into this matchup on tired legs.
Andre Drummond Fantasy
Avoid Andre Drummond, C, Los Angeles Lakers ($6,600): Andre Drummond's numbers fell off of a cliff in the last matchup and there should be concerns over a repeat performance tonight. Drummond recorded just 4 points and 0 rebounds in 21 minutes against the Denver Nuggets. The competition won't get any easier against the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers hold opponents to the fifth-fewest PPG (108.2) and fewest RPG (48.1) in the league. Even without Serge Ibaka they have strong frontcourt depth that can pose problems for Drummond. And with LeBron James out, the Lakers are at blowout risk, making Drummond an avoid.
