NBA DFS 3/29/2022

Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Tuesday, 3/29, NBA DFS action.

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 3/29

Kristaps Porzingis Fantasy

Target Kristaps Porzingis, PF/C, Washington Wizards ($8,800): Kristaps Porzingis hasn't missed a beat since joining the Washington Wizards via trade back in early February. He is averaging 21.4 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.9 assists with his new team and draws a great matchup on Tuesday night. The Chicago Bulls are allowing the fifth-most fantasy points to opposing forwards as well as 49.4 points per game in the paint (T-No. 23 in NBA). Porzingis is playing over 30 minutes a night on a team that is playing with nothing to lose. Don't hesitate to slide Porzingis into a starting spot in a game that features one of only a few close spreads on the night (3 points).

Andre Drummond Fantasy

Target Andre Drummond, C, Brooklyn Nets ($6,600): The Brooklyn Nets play the Detroit Pistons at Barclays Center on Tuesday night. It lines up to be the perfect smash spot for center Andre Drummond. Drummond excels at racking up boards and Detroit gives up the third-most rebounds per game this season (55.5). Not only that, but the Pistons also allows an opponent two-point shooting percentage of 53.5% (T-No. 18 in NBA). Detroit's lack of size by the rim should allow for Drummond to post an easy double-double. The risk of a blowout here isn't worrisome given Drummond only averages 22.2 minutes a game with the Nets anyways. He'll have time to put together a big game.

Malik Monk Fantasy

Target Malik Monk, SG, Los Angeles Lakers ($5,700): The Los Angeles Lakers will be without LeBron James and Anthony Davis tonight, which leaves a lot of shot attempts up for grabs. It would make sense that Malik Monk takes a majority of them given he has scored at least 23 points in each of his last two games. The former Kentucky standout has to go up against a tough Mavericks' defense, but it's possible he is playing some backups in the second half with the Lakers coming in as 12-point underdogs. Keep in mind Monk picked Dallas apart for 17 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists back on March 1. Expected a similar, if not better, performance this time around.

Paul George Fantasy

Avoid Paul George, SG/SF, Los Angeles Clippers ($9,300): NBA fans are going to see the fact that Paul George is likely to suit up tonight as a sign to put in in their DFS lineup. However, it's just not a smart idea. The 12-year pro is coming off a brutal elbow injury and will likely be on a minutes limit in his first game back. This is not a matchup he likely exploits, either. The Utah Jazz have posted the 10th-best defensive efficiency mark in the NBA and give up the second-fewest fantasy points to opposing small forwards. Avoid putting George in your lineup until he gets back to being 100% healthy.

Khris Middleton Fantasy

Avoid Khris Middleton, SF/SG, Milwaukee Bucks ($7,500): A game with massive Eastern Conference playoff implications takes place tonight between the Milwaukee Bucks and Philadelphia 76ers. Targeting one of the many big names in this game in not a bad strategy, but don't let it be Khris Middleton. Middleton has scored less than 20 points in three of his last five games and now has to face a 76ers' defense that excels at defending the perimeter. Philadelphia is giving up the fourth-fewest fantasy points to opposing shooting guards and allows an opponent three-point percentage of just 34.3% (T-No. 5 in NBA). Middleton doesn't drive to the rim too often, which leaves him with little upside here.
