FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA
Luka Doncic Fantasy
Target Luka Doncic, PG, Dallas Mavericks ($11,000): Nightly triple-double threat Luka Doncic gets a mouth-watering matchup against the lowly Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. Doncic has torched opposing defenses over the past three outings, averaging 39.0 points along with 7.3 assists and 7.3 rebounds per game in that stretch. He's also shooting 59.5% from the field and 54.5% from deep over his last three, highlighting his insane scoring touch as of late. Now he gets to face the Wolves, who are allowing the third-most points (117.1) and rebounds (56.2) per game to opponents this season, setting him up for a monster night.
John Collins Fantasy
Target John Collins, PF, Atlanta Hawks ($8,200): John Collins has been a solid fantasy producer over his last five games, outpacing his FanDuel fantasy points per game average (33.4) in each of those five contests, including a 63.2-point outing last Saturday. Collins has registered three double-doubles over that span, and he's averaging 2.4 blocks as well to add to his nightly fantasy totals. Finding his groove as of late as both a scorer and rebounder, he should thrive against the Sacramento Kings, who are giving up the second-most PPG (119.3) and 52.0 rebounds per game.
Collin Sexton Fantasy
Target Collin Sexton, SG, Cleveland Cavaliers ($7,300): Collin Sexton is a candidate to outplay his moderate price tag tonight. He's averaging a notable 27.3 PPG in his last four games, including three straight games with 29-plus points, while adding 4.8 APG and 4.8 RPG. He has the green light within the Cleveland Cavaliers' offense, as evidenced by his 21.0 field goal attempts per contest in that timespan. The opportunities are there for taking, and that's great news heading into a matchup against the Chicago Bulls, who allow the seventh-most PPG (113.9) and play at the league's sixth-fastest pace. In a potential shootout, Sexton is sure to be a huge factor.
Nikola Vucevic Fantasy
Avoid Nikola Vucevic, C, Orlando Magic ($9,900): Usually a dependable fantasy option, Nikola Vucevic has struggled as of late, falling below his fantasy PPG average (46.4) in each of his last two contests, and he hasn't scored more than 22 points in any of his last four games. With his recent scoring woes, it's hard to shell out for the sixth-most expensive player on Wednesday's slate. That's especially true against a Phoenix Suns defense that's holding opponents to the third-fewest PPG (107.3) this season. And with Phoenix placing in the top ten for fewest RPG (50.3), Vucevic could fail to recoup his value if his shot does elude him again.
DeMar DeRozan Fantasy
Avoid DeMar DeRozan, SG, San Antonio Spurs ($8,900): DeMar DeRozan is another pricey option worth avoiding Wednesday. He's thrived as a distributor this season, averaging a career-high 7.4 assists per game, but the San Antonio Spurs will be without three of their top scorers in LaMarcus Aldridge, Lonnie Walker and Rudy Gay tonight. That's bad news, especially facing a Los Angeles Clippers team with Paul George and Kawhi Leonard wreaking havoc on defense. The Clippers give up just 109.3 PPG (sixth fewest in the league), and have held their opponents to 99 points or fewer in three of their last four games. The blowout potential of this game makes it hard to see DeRozan living up to his cost on Wednesday.
