NBA DFS 11/11/2021
Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Thursday, 11/11, NBA DFS action.
FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 11/11
Andre Drummond Fantasy
Target Andre Drummond, C, Philadelphia 76ers ($9,100): Andre Drummond is a fantasy must-start with Joel Embiid sidelined. Drummond is averaging 15.0 points and a whopping 20.0 rebounds in three games without Embiid this season. Toronto is a strong rebounding team, but Drummond faces little competition on his own roster for boards. Pascal Siakam is also expected to sit, which would make Drummond's life even easier down low.
Donovan Mitchell Fantasy
Target Donovan Mitchell, SG/OG, Utah Jazz ($8,600): Donovan Mitchell has come alive after a slow start. He's averaging 45.2 FanDuel fantasy points over his last six games, putting up 29.8 points, 5.5 assists and 4.8 rebounds per game in that span. Utah has leaned on the guard to do it all on offense, as evidenced by his 35.4% usage rate (on pace to be a career high). He gets a delicious matchup against an Indiana Pacers team in the top half of the league for most opponent PPG (108.8) and that is playing on the second half of a back-to-back.
Precious Achiuwa Fantasy
Target Precious Achiuwa, PF/C, Toronto Raptors ($4,900): Precious Achiuwa is a great value play. Despite being bumped from the starting lineup two games ago with Siakam back, the second-year big man has played at least 24 minutes in both contests. He was productive, registering at least 28.0 FanDuel fantasy points in each of those outings. He can make impact even without strong scoring output, as his consistency on the boards (8.7 RPG) gives him a solid floor. With Embiid out and Siakam likely sidelined as well. that opens up a huge opportunity for Achiuwa to outplay his modest salary.
Domantas Sabonis Fantasy
Avoid Domantas Sabonis, PF/C, Indiana Pacers ($8,800): Domantas Sabonis logged 33 minutes last night in Denver against the Nuggets, and now he'll face a quick turnaround against one of the league's best defenses. Utah holds opponents to the third-fewest PPG (102.2) and boasts the fifth-best defensive rating (104.0) in the league. Rudy Gobert and co. also give up the fewest rebounds to opponents this season at just 40.4. Sabonis could struggle across the board on the second night of a back-to-back.
Paul George Fantasy
Avoid Paul George, SG/SF, Los Angeles Clippers ($10,300): Paul George isn't an avoid on account of his own play. It's his matchup that could cap his upside. The Miami Heat are coming off of an OT loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Wednesday, a game which Jimmy Butler left early with an ankle injury and did not return. Butler possibly being sidelined would limit Miami's offense against a top defensive team. The Los Angeles Clippers surrender just the sixth-fewest PPG (103.2), and they could run away in this one if Butler sits. That makes George a potentially risky play if his night is cut short in a blowout.
