NBA DFS 10/27/2021

Without further ado, here are three players to target and two to avoid in Wednesday, 10/27, NBA DFS action.

FanDuel Picks Tonight NBA - 10/27

Ja Morant Fantasy

Target Ja Morant, PG, Memphis Grizzlies ($9,500): Point guard Ja Morant has been on fire the start the NBA season and currently leads the league averaging 35.0 points per game. He is the leader of this Memphis offense and has posted a usage rate of 33.6 so far. This game is projected to be a wild shootout. The over/under of 234.5 is one of the highest totals of the young season and there's a reason why. Both of these squads rank in the bottom-10 teams when it comes to points allowed per game and Portland plays at the fastest pace in the NBA. Morant is worth the high price tag tonight.

Cam Reddish Fantasy

Target Cam Reddish, SF, Atlanta Hawks ($5,300): Cam Reddish has exceeded expectations in 2021. The third-year pro is averaging 18.7 points, 4.3 rebounds and 1.3 steals through three games. His ability to make an impact on the defensive end of the floor is going to force the coaching staff to let him see more minutes. Reddish is shooting career-high 14.3 field goals attempted per contest and it has allowed him to average over 27 FanDuel DFS fantasy points. That is a lot of volume for player coming off the bench. Reddish has underrated value and is a great buy-low candidate for Wednesday's action.

Jaylen Brown Fantasy

Target Jaylen Brown, SG, Boston Celtics ($8,800): It has become clear that this Boston Celtics' offense runs through Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown. Brown has posted a usage rate of 29.2 this season and is averaging a career-high 28.3 points per game through the first week. Keep in mind that the Washington Wizards have been getting torched by opposing shooting guards. Brown is a lock to put up around 20 shots and his improved rebounding ability is giving him a boost as well. It's surprising to see his price tag this low considering he is putting up 45.6 FanDuel DFS fantasy points per game. Put him in the lineup with confidence.

Bradley Beal Fantasy

Avoid Bradley Beal, PG, Washington Wizards ($8,700): It has been a weird start to the year for Washington's star player Bradley Beal. The All-Star guard has been banged up dealing with an injury and it shows. Beal has played 66 total minutes this season and is shooting a dismal 36.6% from the floor, including 21.1% from beyond the arc. It's notable to point out that the veteran sharpshooter is turning the ball over 4.5 times per game. All things considered, it's smart to avoid Beal until he figures things out. His monster price tag doesn't make him an enticing option, either.

Evan Mobley Fantasy

Avoid Evan Mobley, PF, Cleveland Cavaliers ($6,400): Trusting rookies in fantasy basketball can be a tough road to go down. Evan Mobley has played well to start the season, but he is the definition of a boom-or-bust player. The big man out of USC has posted 17 points in 9 rebounds in two of his four games played. However, he is coming off a season low 26 minutes played and scored just 10 points. His price tag is beginning to jump, which isn't good news given his inconsistency. Mobley is a fine options in favorable matchups, yet the Cavaliers will likely lean on Jarrett Allen to carry the load against a high-scoring Clippers team.
