With Deshaun Watson returning from suspension to face his former team in Week 13, Sunday's Cleveland Browns vs Houston Texans game figures to feature plenty of drama.
The game also features a lesser-known storyline involving the rivalry between former college teammates Myles Garrett and Kyle Allen, who are set to face off for the first time in their NFL careers.
When asked if he wanted to say anything to Garrett before their upcoming showdown, Allen provided a funny response.
Browns vs Texans Game
Allen, who is expected to start at quarterback for Houston, hopes Garrett takes it easy on him. After all, Garrett is one of the best defensive players in the NFL and has made a living out of knocking down opposing quarterbacks.
This will be the first time these two will be sharing the field since they were teammates together at Texas A&M. Garrett left in 2017 and was immediately drafted first overall by the Browns, while Allen followed him to the NFL a year later.
Allen will be making his second start of the season for Houston after taking over under center for Davis Mills. He'll try to lead the Texans to their second win of the season, but that won't be easy against Garrett and co. Garrett already has 10 sacks and 15 QB Hits in 10 games this year, so there's a good chance he gets to Allen at least once.
Cleveland is currently a 7-point road favorite for Watson's return on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
