One player that has been consistently rising up draft boards ever since the conclusion of the college football season is Kyle Pitts. He hauled in 43 receptions for 770 yards and 12 touchdowns in his 8 games played for the Florida Gators. His insane size is what makes NFL scouts drool over him.

The young tight end is one of the most intriguing NFL prospects this year and he has the talent needed to easily transition to the next level. With that in mind, here are three of the most likely teams to draft Pitts.

Kyle Pitts Draft Projections

1. Atlanta Falcons (No. 4)

The Atlanta Falcons are reportedly open to trading down in the first round, but they could look towards Pitts if they are unable to get a deal done. Adding Pitts to an offense that already includes Julio Jones and Calvin Ridley would give Atlanta major advantage on that side of the ball. Plus, pairing starter Hayden Hurst with Pitts would allow head coach Arthur Smith to run a lot of two-TE sets. Pitts has an impressive ability to compete for 50/50 balls and elite explosiveness out on the field that would bring a spark to this Falcons team.

2. Miami Dolphins (No. 6)

The Miami Dolphins remain a team on the rise in the NFL as they just missed making the postseason in 2020. They are expected to take an offensive player with the No. 6 overall pick and it could easily be Kyle Pitts. While Miami isn't in need of a tight end, Pitts is highly regarded as a generational type of talent. He would become an immediate red zone option for young quarterback Tua Tagovailoa. Plus, he would be able use his crisp route-running skills to get open over the middle of the field and simply take this offense to another level.

3. Carolina Panthers (No. 8)

If Pitts falls down to the No. 8 spot in the first round, don't be surprised if the Panthers decide to draft him. The Panthers just traded for quarterback Sam Darnold and could draft Pitts to add to his offensive weaponry. The trio of Pitts, DJ Moore and Christian McCaffrey would be one of the best in the NFL. The Panthers excelled years ago when they had a reliable starting tight end in Greg Olsen. Pitts could take over that kind of role in today's game as he is a big play waiting to happen with every snap of the ball.
