Kyle Kuzma has the talent to succeed in the NBA, but the chance of that happening with the Los Angeles Lakers seems to be dwindling as the years go by. Although he was expected to take on a bigger role this season, Kuzma averaged just 12.7 points and 6.1 rebounds in 28.7 minutes played per game.

A change of scenery might be exactly what Kuzma needs to be able to develop his skills at the professional level. With that in mind, here are three of the most likely trade destinations for Kuzma.

Kyle Kuzma Trade Destinations

1. Sacramento Kings

Despite having talent across the roster, the Sacramento Kings missed the playoffs this season and may look to make a trade to switch things up a bit. There are multiple players on the Kings that could interest the Lakers including forwards Marvin Bagley and Harrison Barnes. That means there would be an open forward spot in the starting lineup for Kuzma to take over. Head coach Luke Walton has worked with Kuzma in the past and knows how he can score the ball at will. He could end up as a great primary scorer to pair with point guard De'Aaron Fox.

2. Oklahoma City Thunder

Oklahoma City has proven that it is not afraid to make any kind of trade. However, this would likely only happen in a scenario in which the Lakers are just trying to dump Kuzma's contract as the Thunder do not have many trade pieces on the roster. Kuzma has an ability to stretch the floor and would make an interesting trio with young wing producers Darius Bazley and Luguentz Dort. Oklahoma City is in a rebuild and it never hurts to acquire a 25-year-old shooter that still has some untapped potential. Kuzma would likely slide in as a starter on this squad.

3. Indiana Pacers

The Indiana Pacers make a lot of sense as a possible landing spot for Kuzma given their variety of trade pieces. The Lakers could look to acquire Myles Turner to fix the team's issues at the center position or Malcolm Brogdon as a reliable point guard option. As for the Pacers, Kuzma would be a great scoring option off the bench or someone that could become a starting forward in the near future. Indiana would have to find a way to take on Kuzma's contract, but it wouldn't be surprising if there was a mutual interest between these two teams.
