A lot has changed in the NBA landscape since the conclusion of the 2019 NBA Finals. Anthony Davis has been traded to the Los Angeles Lakers. Kevin Durant, Kawhi Leonard and Kyrie Irving are all exploring their options in free agency. With so much changing in the league, players like Kemba Walker can often get overlooked.

But Kemba is a free agent as well, and he unsurprisingly has a ton of suitors. With that in mind, here are the three most likely destinations for Kemba in free agency.

3. Charlotte Hornets

While things are constantly changing in the NBA, Kemba said he would take less money to stay in Charlotte earlier this offseason. However, he may not have to take less, as Charlotte can actually offer Kemba the most money. If he stays, Kemba could sign a five-year deal worth $221 million in Charlotte (all other suitors could only offer up to a four-year deal worth $141 million).

2. New York Knicks

A Bronx native, returning to the Knicks would be somewhat of a homecoming for the three-time All-Star. With Irving rumored to be interested in signing with the Brooklyn Nets, the Knicks may need to explore other options with the cap space they cleared when they traded Kristaps Porzingis to the Dallas Mavericks. While he may not be quite as efficient as Irving, Kemba would still be a tremendous asset to pair with first-round pick, RJ Barrett.

1. Boston Celtics

Despite seemingly not being in the running to sign Kemba as recently as a couple weeks ago, there are more than a few rumors linking him to Boston. With Al Horford and Irving likely leaving this summer, the Celtics have enough cap space to sign Kemba if they don't retain Terry Rozier and Marcus Morris. Assuming Irving leaves, the Celtics will likely be in need of a point guard. Kemba could be the perfect veteran fit alongside Gordon Hayward and the rest of Boston's young, talented roster.
