The final four teams are set for the 2019 MLB postseason, as the Houston Astros and New York Yankees will face off in the American League Championship Series (ALCS), while the St. Louis Cardinals and Washington Nationals are lined up for the National League Championship Series (NLCS).

Despite being pushed to a Game 5 in the American League Division Series (ALDS), the Astros remain the favorite to win the 2019 World Series with +110 odds, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

The Astros, powered by an elite starting pitcher trio, offense and bullpen, remain the favorites to take home their second championship in three seasons. The Yankees have the second-best odds to win the World Series at +280.

Coming off a series sweep against the Minnesota Twins in the ALDS, the Bronx Bombers are thriving on offense after leading all of baseball in runs per game (5.85) in the regular season. The Yankees are looking to win their 28th World Series title and the first in 10 years.

ALCS Betting Odds

On Saturday night, the Astros will host the Yankees in Game 1 of the ALCS. Houston has -175 odds to advance to the World Series, while the Yankees are +140. The teams split their regular-season series, each winning three games. These two teams faced off in the 2017 ALCS, when the Astros won in seven games before going on to win the World Series over the Los Angeles Dodgers.

NLCS Betting Odds

The Nationals (+440) and Cardinals were both underdogs in their respective NLDS matchups, against the Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves, but overcame the odds, with each team winning a decisive Game 5.

The Cards and Nats will kick things off Friday night in Game 1 of the NLCS at Busch Stadium, with Miles Mikolas facing off against Aníbal Sánchez. Washington is favored to win the NLCS (-135) over St. Louis (+115), despite not having home-field advantage. The Cardinals were 5-2 against the Nationals in seven regular season games, so that could have something to do with those odds.

With just four more wins needed to advance to World Series, we'll have to wait and see what happens during these next few October baseball games.
