The Auburn Tigers lost three games in the gauntlet that is the SEC this season. Under true freshman Bo Nix, they finished at No. 12 in the final College Football Playoff rankings and ended the regular season with an Iron Bowl win over Alabama. Their final test is a meeting with the No. 18 Minnesota Golden Gophers in the Outback Bowl, in which Auburn is currently a 7-point favorite, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.

Neil Greenberg and Matt Bonesteel, of the Washington Post, are split on the Outback Bowl. Bonesteel likes the Golden Gophers to keep the game within seven points. Greenberg, on the other hand, thinks the Tigers will cover a 7.5-point spread.

Adam Rittenberg, senior writer at ESPN, thinks Auburn will dispel of Minnesota with relative ease. He's projecting a 31-20 final score in favor of the Tigers.
