Mike Evans Active for Week 1 vs 49ers Leaves Positive Fantasy Outlook for Buccaneers WR
By Zach Brunner

Heading into the 2019 NFL season, Mike Evans was touted as one of the top wide receiver options in fantasy football. His production on the field supported this, but the Buccaneers' coaching change to Bruce Arians was expected to help take Evans to that next level.
However, the wide receiver was listed as questionable with an illness throughout the week and missed Friday's practice due to a stomach bug. While Evans was always expected to play, there were still questions leading up to the release of inactives for the late slate of games in Week 1.

Evans was declared active and has a sweet matchup against the San Francisco 49ers today. The game has one of the highest projected over/under totals of Week 1, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, which should seemingly lead to a WR1 receiving performance from Evans.
Bucs’ WR Mike Evans and LB Devin White, both listed as questionable for today with an illness, will play against the 49ers, per sources.

The Bucs wideout is a consensus top-5 receiver in this matchup, meaning you need to make sure he's locked into your Week 1 fantasy lineup. Evans should continue to have similar outlooks throughout the 2019 NFL season, something that his fantasy owners should get a first look at this week.
