Miguel Cabrera is entering the final season of his Hall of Fame career. Since 2008, he's been playing with the Detroit Tigers and has cemented himself as arguably the greatest player in franchise history.

Knowing he's going through his last of everything this season, Cabrera is taking the chance to reflect and just enjoy his time.

"I'm good. I can't complain. I've been blessed for a lot of years. I only want to be healthy, try to go out there and compete and enjoy the game. It's been good for me. I'm going to go out there and enjoy this moment."

Cabrera has amassed over 3,000 hits and 500 home runs in his career, and while he;'s clearly not the MVP-caliber player he once was, Cabrera still managed a .254 batting average in 2022 at age 39. The soon to be 40-year-old is simply hoping for a healthy season.

He has no more records to break and the Tigers aren't considered contenders in 2023. This season provides the perfect opportunity for Cabrera to relax and enjoy the ride one last time. After all he's given the Tigers and the game of baseball in general, he deserves at least that in his farewell campaign.
