Michigan Lands Major 4-Star Recruit at Critical Position of Need

As college football recruiting season rolls on, teams continue to build out their teams of the future, getting commitments from the top high school talent from around the country.
The Michigan Wolverines are a program in need of a big season after disappointing in recent years. And their newest recruit fits in perfectly with one of their biggest needs.
4-Star wide receiver Tay'shawn Trent has officially committed to the Wolverines. The passing attack has been a specific concern for Michigan of late, and landing Trent potentially could change that. Last season, Michigan only had one pass catcher top 300 receiving yards. That's not exactly a recipe for success, especially in the Big Ten.
#Michigan picks up a big in-state recruiting win with four-star WR Tay'Shawn Trent. Huge fan of his game and upside. https://t.co/5v2VdNnOHv

Michigan currently has the No. 10 ranked recruiting class according to 247 Sports, a number surely helped by Tate.
As long as the Wolverines can continue to build on this, things should be looking up in Ann Arbor.
