Michigan has had its fair share of success this season, going 11-1 with its only loss coming against Michigan State in Week 9. Meanwhile, Iowa went 10-2, losing both of its games in back-to-back contests against Purdue and Wisconsin.
This week's matchup is a big one because it'll be the first time that Michigan has competed for the Big Ten Championship. Iowa previously played for it in 2015, losing 16-3 to Michigan State.
When it comes to all-time head-to-head matchups, the Wolverines and Hawkeyes have clashed 61 times. Michigan leads the series (42-15-4) and beat Iowa, 10-3, in their last meeting on Oct. 5, 2019.
The Big Ten Championship game will be played on Saturday, Dec. 4 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, IN at 8 p.m. EST.
