The star wideout responded to his contract restructure with a seemingly positive message. He tweeted a photo with the caption, "A fresh start isn't a new place, it's a mindset."

This expression seems to confront the rumors head-on, as some have suggested a fresh start for the Saints and Thomas could be best for both parties. Instead, it appears the receiver is embracing a new attitude as his stay in New Orleans continues.

Hopefully the upcoming 2022 season gives the Thomas-Saints a much-needed reset following a rocky past year. The receiver sounds committed to hitting the ground running after an injury-plagued 2021 campaign, and his return could give New Orleans a huge boost in its first season post-Sean Payton.
