Michael Thomas Shares Epic Instagram Post About His 2022 Mindset
By Larry Rupp
The New Orleans Saints are going to need all the help they can get to improve a weakened passing attack in 2022. The team is set to get star wide receiver Michael Thomas back from injury and he recently posted an epic video on Instagram about the mindset he has going into next season.

Thomas deleted all pictures and videos from his profile except one that he captioned "2022 demon mode...". It is a post of the late Kobe Bryant speaking on his work ethic: "I'm relentless. I wanna win and wanna win by any means necessary, and that's when that demon comes out."
It's a simple yet effective way for the three-time Pro Bowler to show the New Orleans fan base that he isn't messing around. Rumors have surfaced about the Saints looking to trade Thomas, but those have all been shut down. He seems determined to get back on the field as soon as possible.
The last time the NFL saw a healthy Michael Thomas for a full season was in 2019. The 28-year-old posted a league-high 1,725 yards on 149 receptions and scored 9 touchdowns. The Saints would benefit greatly from getting even a sliver of that type of production from their star pass-catcher.
It's unknown what quarterback will be throwing Thomas' way during the 2022 season at this point. It could be Taysom Hill, a first-round rookie, a free agent, or a trade acquisition. That may remain up in the air for now, but there's no doubt that Thomas is hungry to show he still has what it takes to thrive.
