Michael Thomas-Saints Drama Takes Promising Turn

The recent drama surrounding Michael Thomas and the New Orleans Saints clouded the wide receiver's future. His recent cryptic tweet on the situation didn't help things, and many started to wonder if a breakup was inevitable.
It appears the worst case has been avoided with the Saints' top wideout.
Despite issues in recent weeks between the #Saints and wideout Michael Thomas, sources said the wideout had a productive meeting with head coach Sean Payton and the two sides are working to move past their frustration. https://t.co/2j7TRZILtJ

Michael Thomas Trade Rumors
Thomas and Saints head coach Sean Payton have reportedly met to hash out their differences. Both sides were able to air out their grievances, and neither is looking for a trade right now to end this saga.
This is an encouraging turn of events after things looked rocky. The best-case scenario for both sides is Thomas coming back motivated and at 100%, so resolving this bad blood now instead of letting it linger should help.
Hopefully Thomas can return to his dominant 2019 form, when he led the league in receptions (149) and receiving yards (1,725) while scoring 9 TDs. That version of the wideout dramatically improves the Saints' offense, and it also opens up better trade packages if the Saints do decide to move on at some point.
