After a season that ended for the Los Angeles Rams sooner than they had hoped in 2020, the team decided it needed to make a change at quarterback in an effort to get this talented roster to the next level. Los Angeles pulled off a blockbuster trade that landed them Matthew Stafford, while in the process, sending Jared Goff to Detroit.

Fans and analysts alike loved the move for the Rams, and even some players chimed in about it, including Rams defensive lineman Michael Brockers. Fast forward to Wednesday and the Rams are finalizing a trade to send Michael Brockers to Detroit, which might make things a bit awkward considering his comments about his then-former and now-current quarterback.

When a guy is traded from your team, you don't exactly anticipate you will be joining him shortly after. While this may have been more Brockers hyping up Stafford than it was knocking Goff, the optics aren't great. However, surely all can be fixed by playing some winning football in Detroit. How much of that will be happening in Detroit this season though, is too be determined.
