Just 1.5 short years into his NFL career, and Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons has already cemented himself as one of the best defenders in football. Not only did Parsons earn Pro Bowl, All-Pro and Defensive Rookie of the Year honors in 2021, but he's back for another ferocious start to the season.

That was on full display during the Cowboys Week 7 win against the Detroit Lions. Parsons was all over the field with another 5 tackles, 1.0 sacks and 1 forced fumble. His day was highlighted by a heroic TD-saving tackle against Lions tight end Brock Wright.

Below is a clip of that play.

Of course, Jamaal Williams fumbled on the very next play and the Cowboys tromped Detroit in the final frame of this contest. Parsons' athletic and motivated play caught the attention of the NFL world, including a special Twitter shoutout from Hall of Fame quarterback Kurt Warner on Monday morning.

Parsons responded to the praise with an awesome 'thank you' Tweet.
