The New York Mets enter the MLB's regular season with their highest expectations in recent memory. With a loaded roster featuring All-Stars like Jacob deGrom, Max Scherzer, Francisco Lindor and more, the Mets have their eyes set on a World Series.

With all the excitement, Citi Field will be rocking throughout the spring and summer. Mets fans will circle one date, in particular, to pack the house.

On Monday, the franchise announced an anniversary celebration for Johan Santana's 2012 no-hitter to take place in May.

Just one day before the official 10-year anniversary, New York will honor Santana during a pre-game ceremony on Tuesday, May 31. The ceremony will be held prior to the team's 7:10 p.m. ET scheduled contest with the Washington Nationals.

Santana's no-hitter remains the only no-no in franchise history. The two-time Cy Young award winner accomplished this feat back on June 1, 2012 when he stifled opposing St. Louis Cardinals hitters.

This effort snapped a 50-year drought for New York, despite the franchise touting Hall of Fame pitcher Tom Seaver.

Josh Thole, who caught Santana's no-hitter back in 2012, will also be honored during the ceremony.

New York enters the season with favorable +1100 odds (5th) to win the World Series on FanDuel Sportsbook.
