Previously having lost all hope for their season, the Green Bay Packers enter Week 17 with their playoff hopes very much alive. The team will need some help from other teams around the NFC but Aaron Rodgers and his squad can still make their fourth straight playoff appearance if everything lines up.
That especially adds to the importance of roster health before Green Bay's matchup with the Minnesota Vikings on Sunday.
Head coach Matt LaFleur provided a pair of important injury updates on rookie wide receiver Christian Watson and All-Pro offensive tackle David Bakhtiari on Friday.
Packers Injury Report
LaFleur informed the media that he is fully expecting to see Bakhtiari play on Sunday. The All-Pro left tackle hasn't played since Week 12 after an emergency appendectomy in early December.
On the other side is Watson, who LaFleur simply said "we'll see" his chances of playing in Week 17. Watson, who has been dynamic down the stretch, is nursing a hip injury from Green Bay's win over the Miami Dolphins last week. He's yet to log a practice this week.
Green Bay faces an tight battle while playing at home on Sunday. FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds show the Packers as slim 3-point favorites.
