The Orlando Magic and Detroit Pistons square off in Las Vegas Summer League action on Saturday. After starting the tournament 2-0, the Magic have now lost back-to-back contests. Their most recent loss came against the New York Knicks on Thursday in the form of a 102-89 final score.

The Pistons can actually relate to what the Magic are going through. Detroit also experienced a 2-0 start to Summer League, only to lose back-to-back contests. Despite a strong second-half effort, the Pistons ended up losing to the Cleveland Cavaliers, 82-79, on Thursday as well.

Magic vs Pistons Prediction & Pick

This matchup will surely be one of the more anticipated ones of the tournament due to the talent that both teams possess. On one hand, the Magic have the likes of Paolo Banchero, Caleb Houstan and R.J. Hampton. Meanwhile, the Pistons boast Jaden Ivey, Saddiq Bey, Isaiah Stewart and more.

Even though the Magic are the slight favorites, I have a hard time trusting them after their starting lineup combined for just 33 points in their last game. Meanwhile, the Pistons showed a lot of promise with how they finished their last outing despite the lost, outscoring the Cavaliers, 53-37 in the final two quarters.

It should be a close game, but I'm take the Pistons as +104 underdogs on the moneyline.
