The Los Angeles Rams certainly won the day last Saturday with a victory over their division rival Seattle Seahawks in the NFL Wild Card Round, but it didn't appear to come without cost.

The Rams lost star defensive tackle Aaron Donald to an apparent rib injury after he tackled Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson to the ground before grabbing his abdomen immediately afterward.

While it looked grim, the latest news on Donald and his potential status for LA's NFL Divisional Round matchup with the Green Bay Packers should have Rams' fans sighing a breath of relief.

That's right, the Rams are now hopeful that he will actually be good to go for Saturday's 4:35 p.m. EST kickoff against the Packers in Green Bay after a recent MRI failed to reveal any breaks to Donald's ribs.

The Rams enter this weekend tied with the Baltimore Ravens for the No. 1 scoring defense in the NFL, allowing just 18.6 points per game on the year, and Donald's presence has had a lot to do with that figure.

Furthermore, considering the Rams are sizable 6.5-point underdogs against Green Bay, according to FanDuel Sportsbook, they're going to need all of the help they can get, especially from arguably the greatest talent on the entire roster in Donald.
