List of MLB Players With 3,000 Hits as Miguel Cabrera Looks to Join the Club

Detroit Tigers star Miguel Cabrera is on the cusp of passing the 3,000-hit mark. Heading into Friday's game against the Colorado Rockies, the 11-time All-Star is sitting at 2,999 career hits.

MLB 3000 Hit Club
There are 32 players in MLB history who have notched at least 3,000 career hits. The first member of the 3K club was Cap Anson all the way back in 1897. The next pair of members both joined in 1914, when Honus Wagner and Nap Lajoie each hit the 3,000 mark.
The most recent member of the 3K club was Albert Pujols in May 2018. He hit a single as a member of the Los Angeles Angeles to accomplish this rare feat, and remains the only active player with at least 3,000 hits.
Adrian Belte (2017), Ichiro Suzuki (2016) and Alex Rodriguez (2015) were the other more recent 3K hit club members.
