During a ceremony honoring hall of famer, Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions fans aggressively booed team owner, Sheila Ford Hamp. Lions’ ownership and Johnson have been in a standoff for years after the franchise forced Johnson to pay back his $1.6 million signing bonus money upon his retirement. This is highly unusual for a team to do and the fans made it clear on Sunday that they are on Johnson’s side.
