Le'Veon Bell Update Boosts Clyde Edwards-Helaire Fantasy Outlook

The Kansas City Chiefs somehow found a way to improve their offense this week, as they've added the three-time Pro Bowl running back Le'Veon Bell. The signing is pretty devastating news for Clyde Edwards-Helaire managers, though, as Bell's presence will make this a timeshare going forward.
But fans will get to see what CEH looks like as the Chiefs' sole lead back for at least one more game, as Bell is inactive ahead of the team's Monday Night Football game with the Buffalo Bills.
Chiefs inactive players for today’s game against the Bills: RB Le’Veon Bell, WR Sammy Watkins, LB Darius, RB DeAndre Washington, DE Demone Harris.

Clyde Edwards-Helaire Fantasy Outlook
Edwards-Helaire hasn't been quite as dominant as many were hoping he would be. After a 19.8-point showing in Week 1 that looked like a sign of things to come, the rookie has only topped 13.0 PPR points once in his last four games.
He's averaging 21.6 opportunities (carries plus targets) this season, though. That's always going to be at a premium in an offense as dangerous as Kansas City's, but it could lead to a massive game against this Buffalo defense. The Bills' have been surprisingly ineffective on D, checking in as a bottom-12 defense against the run (No. 22) and the pass (No. 24), per Football Outsiders' DVOA metrics.
Even if this is his last game getting truly elite volume, the former LSU Tiger has a chance to finish his tenure as a true bell-cow with a monster showing tonight.
