The New England Patriots have won six Super Bowls since their dynasty began way back in the 2001-02 season. Interestingly, the Patriots have only managed to win back-to-back titles once during this dominant run, which they did in 2004-05
However, the Patriots are currently favored to repeat as Super Bowl champions of the 2019-20 season, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
The Patriots opened at +800 to win Super Bowl LIV, but they've been holding steady at +700 since March 13. While the recent Demaryius Thomas signing hasn't changed their odds, you have to think he's going to help the Patriots next season, provided he can stay on the field.
The Patriots have some tough competition, however, as the Kansas City Chiefs (+800) are right behind New England. Kansas City came close to beating New England last season in the AFC Championship, and with a talent like Patrick Mahomes at quarterback, it wouldn't be a shock if the Chiefs managed to knock off the Patriots next season.
As for the NFC, the New Orleans Saints are the favorites at +850, but they'll have to contend with the Los Angeles Rams (+900). The Rams and Saints battled out a classic NFC Championship game that was overshadowed by a terrible no-call last season.
While the last season's final four are favored to win the Super Bowl next season, the Cleveland Browns are an intriguing long shot at +1400. It may seem a little reactionary to give the Browns the fifth-best Super Bowl odds, but Cleveland had an impressive offseason.
While the Patriots currently have the best odds to win Super Bowl LIV, it wouldn't be a surprise to see any of the other favorites replace them at the top of next season.
