Running back Josh Jacobs has been the main source of offense for the 3-7 Las Vegas Raiders. A quick look at his team-leading 1,181 yards from scrimmage and 7 touchdowns (2nd) shows why. That proved true again in Week 11 when Jacobs rushed for 109 yards and added 51 receiving yards in the Raiders' 22-16 win over the Denver Broncos.
Unfortunately, the heavy workload has taken a toll on the feature back. Jacobs logged a "limited participant" tag during practice on Friday and has been officially listed as questionable for Sunday's tilt against the Seattle Seahawks thanks to a calf injury.
Early on Sunday morning, NFL insider Adam Schefter provided an update on Jacobs' chances of playing in Week 12.
Josh Jacobs Injury Update
Fortunately for Las Vegas, Schefter reported the stud running back "is likely to play...barring any setbacks during his pre-game warmup." While that does make this a true game-time decision, all signs are pointing towards the Raiders' feature back suiting up.
Considering Jacobs practiced fully on Wednesday and Thursday, it appears the injury occurred at some point during the week of practices. Should Jacobs play, he'll likely lead Las Vegas' backfield again after topping 20 carries in each of his last two games.
Even with the good news on Jacobs, the Raiders are still listed as 4-point road underdogs on FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds.
