Lane Johnson Injury Update is Great News for Eagles

The Philadelphia Eagles faced plenty of problems in 2020, and one that threatened to be a long-term issue was Lane Johnson's ankle injury, which landed him on injured reserve in December, requiring surgery.
Eagles fans can finally exhale on this one, as Johnson provided a great update on Thursday.
#Eagles RT Lane Johnson told me his ankle is doing well and he should be cleared in a month. Lane also said his relationship with GM Howie Roseman is fine.

Eagles News: Lane Johnson Injury
Johnson reports that his ankle is doing well after December's surgery, and that he expects to be cleared in a month. That means he should be good to go by the time Philly returns to the practice field. Barring any setbacks, he'll be full-go by the time training camp rolls around.
Johnson received an overall grade of 71.9 from Pro Football Focus despite playing through the lingering injury in 2020, which was tops among all Eagles offensive linemen.
Matt Pryor, who helped fill the void at right tackle, had an abysmal 55.3 grade — 61st among 80 qualifying tackles on the season.
Getting Johnson back should give this offense a huge boost, and the big improvement to the team's pass protection should help Jalen Hurts find his groove.
