Lamar Miller Fantasy Value Could Be Tied to Streak of 1,100-Plus-Yard Seasons

Lamar Miller is like a 2008 Honda Accord. He's not flashy, but he gets the job done and he's always there when you need him. In fact, Miller is actually one of the most consistent RBs in fantasy football.

Miller has tallied at least 1,100 yards from scrimmage in five straight seasons, the longest such streak in the NFL. He doesn't have much of a ceiling, as he's never rushed for more than eight TDs or 1,100 yards on the ground in a single season, but Miller is a consistent performer on a week-to-week basis.

In 2018, Miller racked up eight quality starts (defined as a performance of 10.4 points or more). With an average draft position (ADP) of RB31, Miller won't be a buzzy selection, but he's capable of putting up consistent production and is one of the few bell cow running backs being drafted outside of the top-30 RBs.

While Miller doesn't have as much upside as some of the other names being selected around him, he's likely going to be an every-week RB2 once again in 2019. He's a great player to stash as your third running back, as he can start at RB in a pinch, or even be a FLEX play while providing valuable depth for any 2019 fantasy roster.
