Lamar Jackson raised concerns this week when he was spotted wearing a sleeve on his right elbow and not throwing during early practice sessions. Fantasy managers have been keeping a close eye on the situation as the current QB1 in fantasy scoring prepares for a tough matchup against the New England Patriots.

Lamar Jackson Injury Update

The latest update on Jackson, though, should calm any fears heading into Week 3.

Jackson was listed as a full participant at Thursday's practice, which included plenty of throwing with that sore elbow. This change in status means he should be a full-go for Sunday's game against the Patriots with no major limitations.

Lamar Jackson Fantasy Outlook

Jackson having no serious injury concerns solidifies him as one of the top QB starts in fantasy once again.

The former MVP leads all QBs in fantasy scoring after racking up 531 yards and 6 touchdowns as a passer, along with another 136 yards and 1 TD on the ground. Jackson lit up a good Miami Dolphins defense for 42.62 fantasy points in Week 2, which included a 79-yard TD run and 3 touchdown passes in a 42-38 barn burner.

Given the Ravens' injury troubles on defense, Jackson could end up in plenty of high-scoring shootouts this season. Making his fantasy upside even stronger is Baltimore's beat-up running back corps, which should mean he'll continue to air it out at a higher-than-normal rate.

Jackson and the offense will certainly be put to the test on Sunday against New England. The Patriots are holding opponents to the fourth-fewest total yards per game and limiting QBs to the seventh-fewest fantasy points. However, they haven't faced a quarterback like Jackson this season, so there should be no thoughts about sitting the Ravens' signal-caller in this one.

Jackson checks in as QB3 in The Duel's Week 3 fantasy rankings.
