After a slow start to his career with the Miami Dolphins, Kenyan Drake has emerged as a solid lead back for the Arizona Cardinals for the past 1.5 seasons.

He's set to become an unrestricted free agent this offseason, however, and with Chase Edmunds waiting in the wings, though, Arizona can afford to let Drake walk and instantly slot the much cheaper Edmunds into the vacant starting role.

With that mind, here are three likely teams that Drake will sign with for the 2021 season.

3. Seattle Seahawks

Seattle Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll has already vowed to run the ball more in 2021. Carroll believes success on the ground will help unlock Seattle's passing game, and Drake could help fill the void if Chris Carson departs in free agency. Drake just posted career highs in rushing yards (955) and TDs (10), showing that he's starting to tap into his potential. He'd be an excellent addition for the Seahawks as they hope to get back to contention.

2. Pittsburgh Steelers

The Pittsburgh Steelers are in flux after their shocking Wild Card loss. There's a ton of questions surrounding the franchise, including on what will happen with free agent James Conner. If Pittsburgh runs it back with Big Ben, Drake could give them a solid presence at running back and ideally carry the load in games where the aging Roethlisberger struggles. As the league's worst rushing team this year (84.4 yards per game), it's time for Pittsburgh to invest in the backfield if they hope to contend with Big Ben still at QB.

1. Atlanta Falcons

The Atlanta Falcons started the season with Todd Gurley as their main back, before opting to go by committee with Ito Smith and Brian Hill taking the majority of the snaps to end the year. Hill and Gurley are both free agents, and Smith is unproven as a lead back. The dependability of Drake, who's scored at least 8 TDs in back-to-back seasons, should make him attractive to Atlanta, especially if they look to bounce back in 2021 rather than rebuild.
