Kenny Golladay Trade Value Revealed

The Detroit Lions are undergoing a roster transformation with a new regime in town. After trading Matthew Stafford, Detroit will need to make key free-agent decisions on wideouts Marvin Jones Jr. and Kenny Golladay.
With the Lions heading toward a rebuild, the team could be willing to part with Golladay via trade – for the right price.

Golladay is an impending free agent. Rather than risk losing him for nothing, Detroit could franchise tag the 27-year-old and ship him out to a WR-needy team this offseason.
If it plays out that way, The Athletic's Nick Baumgardner believes Detroit's best-case scenario is getting a second-round pick in exchange for Golladay. That at least sets a realistic baseline when thinking about any deals involving the wideout. It also shows Golladay might not be worthy of a first-round pick coming off an injury-plagued 2020 campaign.
The fourth-year receiver only appeared in five games for the Lions while totaling career lows in receptions (20), yards (338) and TDs (2).
However, when healthy, he's a dynamic deep threat. He registered back-to-back seasons with 1,000-plus yards prior to 2020, and he led the league with 11 receiving touchdowns in 2019. Heading into a rebuild, the Lions would be wise to ensure they don't lose a Pro Bowl-caliber talent for nothing this offseason.
