Kenny Golladay's injury history likely played a role in his cool market during free agency. However, those troubles didn't faze the New York Giants, who scooped up the wideout on a four-year deal to be Daniel Jones' WR1.

Golladay already gave his new team a scare on Tuesday, but it appears he avoided any serious ailment.

The Giants receiver left Tuesday's practice with hamstring issues, which immediately raised alarms considering his history. The update on Wednesday, though, signaled that it's not considered "significant," which is great news.

Golladay missed time as a rookie in 2017 with a hamstring injury, and he was limited to just five games in 2020 because of both hamstring and hip flexor issues.

If he can stay healthy, the fifth-year pro would be a game-changer for the Giants' offense. He racked up back-to-back 1K-yard seasons prior to 2020 and led the league in receiving TDs (11) in 2019 while playing all 16 games. The attention he commands when at full strength will be vital to opening up easier looks for the likes of Sterling Shepard, Darious Slayton and Kadarius Toney.

New York currently sits third (+390) in the odds to win the NFC East, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
