Minnesota Vikings wideout Justin Jefferson had the game of his life in Week 10. Jefferson went for a career-high 193 receiving yards on 10 receptions and 1 TD. Not only did Jefferson erupt, but he also laid out for easily the 'catch of the year'.
On Thursday, Jefferson revealed he got a surprising call from Odell Beckham Jr. to offer congratulations following the game.
It's unclear exactly what Jefferson and OBJ discussed other than a congratulatory nature for the young phenom. The two share intimate connections to LSU, where they both starred at wide receiver.
OBJ spent the 2011-13 seasons with the Tigers and walked away with 2,340 receiving yards and 12 TDs. Jefferson upped the ante during his collegiate playing days (2017-19), hauling in 2,415 yards and 24 TDs.
Jefferson's insane Week 10 performance jumped him to the top of the NFL Offensive Player of the Year leaderboard. He currently holds leading +210 odds to win the award per NFL odds on FanDuel Sportsbook.
