The Minnesota Vikings are in the thick of the playoff hunt at 4-5 after winning their last 3 games. Rookie wide receiver Justin Jefferson has emerged as a main option for quarterback Kirk Cousins after becoming a full-time starter in Week 3.

One highlight from Jefferson's impressive rookie season is his elite status in third down situations.

Jefferson's yardage production on third down is better than most of the league's top receiving options, an astounding feat for a first-year player.

It speaks volumes to Jefferson's talent that he is already becoming a go-to weapon for the Vikings on third down. When the team needs to move the ball, they're looking at Jefferson to provide that spark -- and the rookie is absolutely delivering.

Jefferson is coming off of his fourth 100-yard performance of the season in Week 10, when he burned the Chicago Bears for 8 receptions and 135 yards. The rookie is averaging 4.7 catches for 84.7 yards per game (good for over 18 yards per reception).

He'll have a chance to run rumpant against the Dallas Cowboys in Week 11, who are giving 224.6 passing yards a game.
