Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs has been a monster this season, ranking as RB7 in PPR fantasy leagues. However, Jacobs fantasy managers should be concerned that the RB was limited in practice with a hip injury, clouding his fantasy outlook for this week.

Josh Jacobs Fantasy Outlook

Jacobs is a bona fide stud. He's averaging 23.0 opportunities (19.9 rushes plus 3.1 targets) per game, accounting for 91.3 total yards a contest. The running back has rushed for 9 TDs, which is tied for the fourth most this season. He is any fantasy team's RB1, averaging 16.7 points per game (PPR). He should remain a lock unless his injury prevents him from suiting up on Sunday.

Devontae Booker Fantasy Outlook

If Jacobs is unable to go, fantasy managers should seriously look at Devontae Booker in his stead. In 10 games as the team's backup RB, Booker is averaging just 6.4 opportunities (5.4 rushes plus 1 target). Jacobs would leave behind double-digit rushing attempts in his absence, which Booker would mightily benefit from.

Booker has proven he's capable of big games when given a larger role on offense. In Week 10 against the Denver Broncos, Booker saw a season-high 16 rushing attempts and delivered with 81 yards and 2 touchdowns.

Booker totaled 20.3 fantasy points (PPR) in that Broncos game, and he should be able to approach similar production if he gets the promotion this week against the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons are one of the tougher defenses against RBs this year, only allowing 20.83 fantasy points per game at that positon, but the sheer volume Booker could see makes him a great pickup if Jacobs is out.
