Josh Jacobs Injury Update Creates Positive Fantasy Outlook for Week 15 Matchup Against Jaguars
By Zach Brunner

Talented rookie running back Josh Jacobs was sidelined last week against the Tennessee Titans due to a shoulder injury. However, Jacobs is on schedule to suit up on Sunday against the Jacksonville Jaguars, after practicing Friday.

Sunday's game carries more weight than normal, with the Raiders not out of the playoff race quite yet. But more importantly, it's the Raiders' final game in Oakland, and it would be nice to end the era on a high note.
Jacobs has ran for 1,061 yards and seven touchdowns on a 4.9-yard per carry average this season.
Josh Jacobs Fantasy Outlook
Fantasy owners for Jacobs couldn't ask for a much better matchup either, with the Jaguars surrendering the most PPR fantasy points to running backs over the past five weeks. They have also allowed 6.3 yards per carry to running backs over this stretch, while allowing another 62 yards per game through the air to the position.
Asked Gruden if there was a reason to play Josh Jacobs or Trent Brown again this season, as opposed to getting them healthy:

“We are trying to win this last game in Oakland. And we’re not eliminated from the playoffs.”
While it looks like Jacobs will be active, plus the matchup and narrative is set up perfect for a big game, it is important to know that the rookie does carry risk, as he is clearly not 100 percent healthy. Still, he comes in as RB14 in our Week 15 PPR rankings.
