Jordan Howard has been a solid presence in the Philadelphia Eagles' backfield this season, but he's been sidelined with a shoulder injury since Week 9. In his absence, Miles Sanders' fantasy value has improved dramatically.

With Howard looking unlikely to play on "Monday Night Football" against the New York Giants, Sanders could be in for another big game.

Miles Sanders Fantasy Outlook in Week 14

Howard did manage to get in a limited practice Friday, but while there's still nothing concrete on his status, there's little to suggest that he's going to be able to suit up Monday night.

With Howard sidelined, Sanders has served as Philadelphia's lead back, playing at least 85 percent of the snaps in three consecutive games. He didn't do much in his first game as the clear-cut starter, but that came against the New England Patriots, so it's hard to fault him there.

In the two subsequent outings, Sanders is averaging 95.5 yards from scrimmage while handling 18.5 touches per game. Against a shaky Giants' defense, Sanders could be in line for a massive outing here.

The Giants are the league's sixth-worst defense, according to Football Outsiders' DVOA rankings, and in Sanders' last game against a bottom-seven defense by DVOA, Sanders dropped 21.5 PPR points (Week 13).

If Howard is sidelined yet again on Monday night, look for Sanders to swing some fantasy matchups in Week 14.
