Most people know Jonathan Taylor for his dominance at the University of Wisconsin, where he lit up his Big Ten opponents for more than 6,000 career rushing yards, becoming only the fourth collegiate player ever to reach that mark.
Needless to say, you don't arrive at a big time school for running backs like Wisconsin without impressing a lot of people in high school first, though, and that's exactly what Taylor did.
Watching him bulldoze New Jersey kids all over the football field is an easy and quick reminder of why he ended up in Madison.
Taylor was taken as the third running back off the board in the loaded 2020 NFL Draft class, and he seems to have scored a great landing spot with the Indianapolis Colts He will jump right into an offense littered with talent, and he should have a chance to earn work right away playing alongside the one-dimensional Marlon Mack.
We might not be able to expect 2,000-yard seasons from Taylor right away in the NFL, but if he can carry any of that high school or college magic with him to the NFL, he'll be just fine.
