John Harbaugh Calls Out Odafe Oweh for Underwhelming Performance

The Baltimore Ravens woke up Monday morning hoping to feel better after blowing a 21-point fourth-quarter lead to the Miami Dolphins on Sunday. While there are several reasons why the Ravens came up short, head coach John Harbaugh has called out one player in particular for an underwhelming Week 2 performance.
Harbaugh spoke on Monday about how outside linebacker Odafe Oweh "must play better, like all of us do." He went on to add that Oweh needs "to be more disruptive" as far as the pass rush is concerned.
Harbaugh said that Odafe Oweh has to "Play better, like all of us do." Did say Tua was getting rid of the ball fast, but Ravens need Oweh to be more disruptive.

Baltimore Ravens News
While singling out a player seems harsh at times, Oweh must be better. The sophomore defender only registered 3 tackles in the loss to Miami, unable to get to Tagovailoa even once. By the end of the game, Baltimore's defense combined for only 1 sack with 2 QB hits.
Along with not having a sack or QB pressure either in Week 1, Oweh has only one pressure on 126 offensive snaps this season. For comparison, the former Penn State product had 5 sacks, 15 QB hits and 27 pressures as a rookie while starting in only 2 of the 15 games he played.
The Ravens spent a 2021 first-round pick on Oweh, so it makes sense why Harbaugh would call him out. At the same time, the pass rush could be a team-wide issue considering how Baltimore only registered 34 sacks in 2021 (tied for 22nd) and is on pace for the same number this year.
Both Oweh and the rest of Baltimore's defense are capable of being better than they've shown thus far. It'll be up to defensive coordinator Mike Macdonald and the linebacker coaches to get things back on track before a Week 3 road matchup against the New England Patriots.
Ravens vs Patriots Week 3 Odds
Despite the Ravens' recent collapse, FanDuel Sportsbook's NFL odds currently list them as 3-point road favorites. With Patriots QB Mac Jones dealing with an ongoing back injury, Oweh needs to have a bigger impact on Sunday.
