The Buffalo Bills not only suffered a last-second loss to the Arizona Cardinals on Sunday, but they also have a potential injury loss to deal with. Brown suffered an ankle injury in the fourth quarter, making an early exit.

Buffalo has the benefit of a bye week in Week 11, so Brown can hopefully use that time to get better before Week 12, but his status is definitely up in the air at this point.

John Brown Injury Update

Brown currently has the third-most targets (48) on the team and is responsible for 2 touchdowns this season. However, he trails Stefon Diggs (102) and Cole Beasley (67) in terms of targets right now. Diggs and Beasley have hauled in 4 and 3 TDs, respectively.

Brown has missed 2 games this season due to other injuries. In games without Brown, Diggs is averaging 13.5 targets (up from his season average of 10.2) while Beasley is averaging 9 targets (up from his season average of 6.7).

Buffalo's Week 12 matchup, the Chargers, has an average defense. They rank 16th in Football Outsiders' defensive DVOA metric and 13th in passing yards allowed per game (232.3). Buffalo ranks 5th among in passing yards per game (278.9), so something will have to give when these two teams meet.

Brown's injury status will be something to monitor during the Bills' bye in Week 11, and if he sits out then both Diggs and Beasley should see an uptick in fantasy value.
