The 2020 college football season isn't even 24 hours from officially concluding with Alabama as the national champion, but attention is already turning to the 2021 season. Aside from who will win the 2021 Heisman Trophy, observers are focused on who will challenge for next year's championship.

Instead of picking the Crimson Tide, FOX Sports broadcaster Joel Klatt has another school as his No. 1 team heading into next season.

Klatt is riding with the Georgia Bulldogs going into next season as his top team.

The Bulldogs finished 2020 with an 8-2 record after making a key QB switch to JT Daniels. The former USC Trojans quarterback helped lead Georgia to a win over undefeated Cincinnati in the Peach Bowl with 392 yards and 1 TD. With Daniels returning to Athens despite being draft eligible, there's real optimism that the Bulldogs will be a contender next year.

The defending champion Crimson Tide come in at No. 2 on Klatt's top-10 rankings for next year, followed by Oklahoma, Ohio State and Clemson.

In the back half of Klatt's rankings, he has Iowa State at No. 6, followed by Indiana, Miami (FL), North Carolina and Notre Dame to conclude the top 10.
