Jets Have Chance to Make History for Wrong Reasons in 2019 NFL Season

Before the season began, few and far between would have thought that the New York Jets would have just a single win heading into their Week 10 contest with the New York Giants.
However, this is the reality, as is the fact that the Jets could finish the season with that lone victory. And, if that happens, the Jets would be responsible for three of the NFL's all-time 1-15 seasons. That's not a list you want to be on, even once, albeit two or three times.
Jets fans are loyal, passionate & real. I see it on my timeline every day. They absolutely have the right to voice their displeasure how they see fit at a terrible product. They deserve better treatment. They deserve accountability. They deserve answers.

It’s THEIR team.
There have been only nine 1-15 finishes in the history of the league, with the Jets accounting for two of them. A third this season would be unprecedented yet seemingly on brand for a team that just hasn't been good.
From head coach Adam Gase having "crazy eyes" during his introductory press conference to Sam Darnold seeing ghosts against the Patriots, the Jets are in the midst of a season to forget. So much so that they lost to a previously winless Dolphins team last week.

As the Jets prepare for Sunday's game against their in-stadium rival Giants, a team that at 2-7 hasn't been much better this season, they have to know that another loss would be a real back-breaker. But, at least we know that it would putt them one step closer to closer to making history for all the wrong reasons.
