Jerry Jones Rips ‘Overconfident’ Cowboys

The Dallas Cowboys did not look like a 6-1 team in Week 9's loss to the Denver Broncos. Denver handed Dallas their worst, and just second, loss of the 2021 season (14 points) in Week 9. Team owner Jerry Jones was not pleased with the effort.
Per typical Jerry Jones fashion, he let the team know via his most recent radio appearance on 105.3 The Fan.

Jones chalked up his team's lack of effort to them appearing "internally overconfident" and "not ready to play." "That's as flat as any team I've seen. We basically played what seemed to be lackadaisical," said Jones.
While fourteen points ins't nearly close to the largest margin of defeat by an NFL team this season, it was a troubling performance from the eye test by Dallas' standards. Dallas didn't score until the fourth quarter of this loss and managed just 16 points for an offense that ranks third in the NFL in scoring (30.1 points per game).
Dallas will look to get things back on the right track in Week 10 when they face the Atlanta Falcons at home. The Cowboys enter this matchup as 9-point favorites on FanDuel Sportsbook.
